Dark Dimensons is a three day Horror and Science Fiction Convention located in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains with side events planned for the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania. Dark Dimensions is the Tri-State area's newest horror and sci-fi convention, it is the sibling convention to SaikouCon Anime Convention and run by the same staff and backing company; Nerdy Rock n' Roller Productions. Dark Dimensions has been in the planning stages since the fall of 2014, originally planned to launch its first year in 2015; it has taken several years to find not only a suitable venue for the convention, and also one that wanted to work with a horror convention.
Dark Dimensions offers the standard horror con experiences of autographs and photo ops with our celebrity guests and excellent genre specific shopping in our Merchant Zone, but the convention also ups the ante with panels, activities, video games, concerts, costume events, and more to fill your time with us with as much fun and spooky good times as possible.
Advance Tickets are available on the Registration page here on DarkDimensionsCon.com, General Admission Advance Tickets are available from October 18, 2019 until September 11, 2020 and VIP Registration is open from October 18, 2019 until August 28, 2020; VIP Tickets will not be available at the door. VIP Registration closes earlier in the year than General Admission to ensure there is time to design the exclusive VIP Mini-Poster that VIP Ticket Holders are given for autograph purposes at the VIP Meet and Greet with our 2020 Guests of Honor (no other items for autographs are allowed to be brought into the Meet and Greet). Merchant Applications will open on the Merchants page on November 1, 2019. Panel Submissions and Volunteer Applications will both open on December 1, 2019 on the Events and Volunteers pages respectively.

Convention Codes of Conduct
Dark Dimensions Attendance Badges must be worn at all times in plain sight and facing forward when entering badge restricted areas and events. Any attendee that loses their badge must purchase a new badge in order to gain access to all Dark Dimensions events, no exceptions. However, if you do lose your badge you may check with con staff and/or security to see if someone turned it in to the registration counter staff before purchasing a new badge.
Dark Dimensions Horror & Sci-Fi Convention is meant for attendees 17 years of age and older, like an R-rated horror movie, but due to high demand, we are offering Teen Attendance Badges (13+) as our sibling convention SaikouCon does. We require that all attendees under the age of 17 have a parent or guardian over the age of 18 with them at all times. You know your children and teens, please use your judgement on whether or not they can handle a horror centric event; real old school, R-rated horror. Dark Dimensions Horror & Sci-Fi Convention is not liable for refunds should your younger teenager not be able to handle the scares and gore centered cosplay that may be seen at the convention.
Cosplaying isNOT permission to touch or invade the personal space of a cosplayer, but there are people out there who will attempt to take candid photos underneath skirts and other flowing garments among other serious infractions on the personal space, safety, and sexual autonomy of other people. This is NOT okay and is considered by the organizers of Dark Dimensions as sexual harassment and stalking. If you want a photograph with somebody, ask permission, if you want to put your arm around them or touch their body in any way, ask permission. Some people are less okay than others with having people randomly throw their arms around them. Sexual harassment and stalking are not taken lightly at Dark Dimensions, our security team will attempt to sort out if there has been an innocent misunderstanding before involving the authorities, as personal space can be infringed upon in crowded spaces with no malice intended, but if the accused party or parties is found to be guilty of malicious intent, threats, stalking, harassment, sexual harassment, unwanted sexual advances, inappropriate sexual language etc. they will be reported to the authorities immediately and detained by Dark Dimensions security until the police arrive and handle the situation to the fullest extent of the law, should the victim(s) of the guilty party or parties wish to press criminal charges against the perpetrator(s). The guilty party or parties will also be permanently banned from future years of Dark Dimensions and Dark Dimensions hosted/sponsored events.
Hate speech, ethnic slurs, gender slurs, ethnic intimidation, sexually harassing speech, cat calling, homophobia, transphobia, anti-LGBTQIA speech are not welcome at Dark Dimensions in any way, shape, or form. Reports of any of the above will be investigated by Convention Security and if found to be true, the guilty party/parties will be banned from Dark Dimensions effective immediately and permanently. Dark Dimensions is an inclusive and welcoming convention centered on community where all are welcome and will be made to feel welcome and safe. The organizers and staff of Dark Dimensions do not and will not tolerate intolerance.
For everyone’s safety: roller blades, skateboards, scooters, wheely shoes, roller skates, and any motorized vehicles including drones, mini-bikes, motorized trikes, hoverboards, RC cars and other RC vehicles etc. are prohibited in all areas of Dark Dimensions and the hosting venue of the convention unless worn or operated by professional stunt personnel and/or other talent in the employ of SaikouCon to perform at the convention.
Helmets, masks, and make-up are permitted to be utilized and worn as part of your cosplay, but at badge pick up your face must be visible to ensure badges are released to the proper badge holders by comparison with photo ID.
Dark Dimensions, and the venue hosting the convention, are not liable for any missing belongings. If you should lose something please contact Dark Dimensions staff or security to assist in helping you find your missing item(s) and/or check with the venue's Lost and Found at their front desk.
For all 18+ and 21+ events, Dark Dimensions Attendance Badges WILL be checked, no exceptions. Valid photo ID such as a passport or drivers license should be on hand to attend age-restricted events. Photo ID will be checked by Dark Dimensions staff should there be suspicion or con staff recognizes an attendee as being a minor with an invalid (meaning Teen Badge instead of an Adult Badge), fake, or of age friend's badge.
Acceptance of membership (purchasing of a badge) indicates that the attendee (or parent in the case of minors under the age of 18) has read the rules of conduct outlined here and consents to the use of the attendee’s image or likeness in any recording, transmission, or reproduction thereof for the purpose of promoting Dark Dimensions. Attendees may at any time refuse to have their photograph taken by non-con staff photographers, members of the press covering the convention, and other attendees.
Signs with offensive content (including hate speech regarding race, religion, ethnic background, gender, preferred gender identity, sexual orientation etc.) are not allowed at Dark Dimensions. Please remember that this event accepts all walks of life equally, this holds for merchants as well. Political signs and banners are also prohibited and will be removed by Dark Dimensions staff and/or security.
Signs that are carried or worn on your person as part of your costume must not exceed 30" x 30", this is for the safety of those around you in the hallways and other communal space in the convention venue. Signs that exceed these specifications could hurts others as you walk in more crowded areas if you walk into them or they walk into you. This could also lead to damaged costumes and other personal property that you may be liable for the cost of.
Signs are not allowed in the Merchant Zone, this is to protect the wares of our merchants and to keep you safe from "you break it, you buy it" rules of our merchants.
Any attendee that breaks any of the sign rules will be asked politely to remove the sign and if any attendee continues to break the rule or does so belligerently will have their badge(s) confiscated and be asked to leave and/or be escorted out of the convention by con security without refund. NO EXCEPTIONS.
